Elusive British funk duo Jungle released their self-titled debut album on Monday. Get lost in the nostalgic, unconventional sounds of the Jungle above, via Spotify.

After dishing out several viral music videos -- including their most recent, "Time" -- Jungle's highly-anticipated album does not disappoint. Each track is like a funky walk down a 1970s road, complete with heavy horns, synths, and trippy falsettos. In addition to that old school feel, the London-based duo also incorporate some eccentric sounds into their music. In an interview at Here & Now, T from the Jungle revealed the group's unlikely creative process on the song "Drops."

I just walked out of the door and the door creaked while J was working on the bass line... I walked back in the room and he’d already got a mic next to the door. So, I just stood there for 10 minutes opening and closing this really creaky door as we recorded it over the track.

Aside from their psychedelic tunes, what probably attracted fans to Jungle was their mysterious identity. The group managed to remain anonymous -- only known as "J" and "T" -- for quite some time. In an interview with Esquire UK, T was quoted saying, “OK, it’s the age of the Internet and someone's going to find out who we are eventually... But that's fine... We’re not trying to hide who we are, we just want to be known for the music and what we create visually." Even though they certainly could've survived on their infectious music and simplistic dance videos, T was right: In June, Here & Now revealed J and T to be Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, a pair of childhood friends from west London.

Jungle is available now on iTunes and Amazon. You can keep up with the group at their official website.
