"Outside" - Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross [YouTube Audio Single]

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have teamed up once again, this time to score Netflix's new movie Bird Box.  Listen to the first single "Outside" above.

As with much of the duo's past collaborations, the track sets an eerie vibe with gentle-yet-suspenseful piano accompanied by unnerving production.  At over 12 minutes long, this abridged version of "Outside" builds moments of tension and release, providing a range of feelings for the listener.

Trent shared a comment about the upcoming release on NIN's website:

We created a significant amount of music and conceptual sound for Bird Box, a lot of which never made it to your ears in the final version of the film.  We've decided to present you with this version of the soundtrack record that represents what Bird Box is to us.  We hope you enjoy. 

An abridged version of the soundtrack will be available to stream on all services by January 25, 2019, and is available for purchase on the NIN webstore.
