Gaslight Anthem singer-songwriter Brian Fallon has shared "Smoke," the newest single from his upcoming solo album. Listen above.

The New Jersey band released their 2014 album Get Hurt on August 12. The following year in July, they announced an indefinite hiatus.

With shaky, passionate vocals, foot tapping beats, and rash lyrics, "Smoke" is a heartbreaking tune. The last lingering line of the song, "You just became something like some smoke that I tried too hard to hold" makes it an instant replay.

"Smoke" will be a part of Brian Fallon's first solo album, Painkillers, which is scheduled for release on March 11, 2016. Pick it up on Amazon.
