Californian indie rockers Young the Giant have released an entirely animated music video for their song "Something to Believe In." The track is expected to be on their upcoming album, Home of the Strange, due out on August 12, 2016.
The video displays moving sketches of watercolored band members altering into an assortment of shapes and scenery. Drew Tyndell, the creative director of Computer Team in Portland, is the mastermind behind the video's visuals and has also had work featured on noteworthy sites such as The Huffington Post, TED, Adobe, and more.
The heavier emphasis of rock in "Something to Believe In" tends to differentiate it from the band's older songs, which might foreshadow a new sound in Home of the Strange.
"Something to Believe In" is out now and available to purchase on Amazon.
