Hugh Jackman, LL Cool J, and T.I. gave a hilarious performance of a rap version of "The Music Man" on last night's Tony Awards. You can watch it above.
Hugh Jackman, the host of this year's Tony Awards, excelled at maintaining his usual charm and charisma throughout the four-hour long telecast. He also kept the ceremony full of surprises, the most memorable moment being when he invited rappers LL Cool J and T.I. on stage for a rap version of the title song from the popular Broadway musical, The Music Man.
Jackman informed the audience of how The Music Man was his acting debut in high school and bragged about how he could remember all eight parts of the opening song of the musical. The charming host then said how he thought it fitting to bring the iconic musical "to the 21st century" as LL COOL J and T.I. were welcomed on stage. Audience members were laughing and singing along with the three performers and definitely seemed to enjoy the unique performance.
