Every Time I Die are band of hardcore punk bruisers from Buffalo, NY. Their seventh album, From Parts Unknown, is due out on July 1st, and yesterday, they shared a track from it. "Thirst" is the first we've heard from the album, and it came accompanied by a hilarious video. Watch it above.
Sonically, "Thirst" kind of tosses out the southern rock / metal influence that has punctuated each of ETID's albums since 2003's Hot Damn! in favor of a more straightforward, but no less vicious, hardcore punk sound. As awesome as the song is, its video is even more entertaining. Beginning with a dude skateboarding to some comically cheesy funk music, things escalate after he finds a flyer for an ETID house show and meets up with a buddy. Chaos -- including booze, swordplay, outdoor masturbation and more booze -- ensues, leading to a video that matches the intensity of "Thirst."
