Opening with an exciting 1-2 punch of "Scarlet Begonias" and "Shakedown Street," the energy was set high coming out of the gate. "Dire Wolf" was one big sing-along, and "Tennessee Jed" was a groovy good time. Chimenti's colorful playing and Mayer's crisp playing highlighted "They Love Each Other." Weir led with passionate vocals in "Black-Throated Wind" and the set closed out with an impressive "Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo" that rises to a fevered climax at the end.

"Here Comes Sunshine" opened the second set before the crowd was treated to a jam-tastic sandwich of "Playing in the Band" > "Uncle John's Band" > "Playing in the Band." Going all out, "Lady with a Fan" led into "Terrapin Station" before Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, also known as The Rhythm Devils, did their thing on drums and electronics. Perhaps the night's biggest treat was when the band segued into the Miles Davis track "Milestones" — the first time Dead & Co have played that. The '90s second set ballad "Days Between" led into fan-favorite "Sugar Magnolia," and the boys encored with Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."
