"1st Quarter Freestyle" - Big Sean [YouTube Music Video + Free Download]

After a not-so-great year, Detroit rapper Big Sean is back to redeem himself. His 2013 album, Hall of Fame, was not a commercial success and didn't receive much critical acclaim. However, his first offering of this year, "1st Quarter Freestyle," seems to be of higher quality than his previous work (excluding his 2011 debut album Finally Famous, which received favorable reviews for the most part).

While the rapping exhibits Big Sean's awesome flow and lyrical dexterity, the video seems to be nothing more than a disoriented ad for Big Trill -- the clothing company Big Sean is now collaborating with. Regardless, I'd just pay close attention to Big Sean's rapping and spend less time trying to analyze the video... there's not much there.
