2 Chainz and Crew Chased By Gunmen

After conflicting reports from sources including TMZ and Radio.com about the robbery of 2 Chainz or a member of his entourage, we finally have video footage of the incident.

The footage shows 2 Chainz and his crew being chased on the streets of San Francisco, in broad daylight, by two gunmen. 2 Chainz and his entourage were walking down the street when the two gunmen approached, one in a white t-shirt, the other in a black hoodie. Upon seeing the men pull guns, Chainz' crew scattered and ran for their lives.

In the back of the video you can see a man, who looks a lot like 2 Chainz, trip on the sidewalk and one of the gunmen walk up to him, hover for a while, and run back up the street with something tucked in his shirt. According to the police, the man stole a wallet and a cell phone.

One of the gunmen literally skipped along the sidewalk after Chainz and his crew during the pursuit with his gun, appearing to be enjoying the robbery. Maybe he knew how much money (and weed) Chainz and his gang tend to carry in their wallets.

Later, in response to rumors of the robbery, Chainz tweeted denying that he was robbed saying, "Who ya gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes." He added, in his defense, "Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken." Maybe he's right. Then again, video footage is pretty hard to refute.

The gunmen have not yet been caught by police.
