Green Day will be debuting 2 films at SXSW in Austin this year, following the release of three new full length records. On March 15th, the punk band will be screening two new films, Broadway Idiot and ¡Cuatro!, in addition to playing that night in the ACL Live series at the Moody Theater.

Broadway Idiot, a documentary which follows Billie Joe Armstrong as the band adapts American Idiot as a Broadway show, will be making its world premier at the festival. ¡Cuatro! is a new film which documents the recording the recent albums ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! It made its debut last month at the X Games, but will be part of the double screening at the Paramount Theatre during SXSW.

Following the festival, Green Day intends to resume their tour on March 28th in Chicago.

The band's new trilogy of records are available here.
