James Murphy, founder of DFA Records and frontman/mastermind of LCD Soundsystem, went to the Red Bull Music Academy to talk answer some questions. He spoke on a variety of subjects, including his personal history, his love of punk music as well as dance music, the history of DFA Records, which just celebrated its 12-year anniversary this weekend, his experiences as a DJ, as well as just listening to some music that he enjoys and that influences him. He had a great deal of experience and knowledge to offer the crowd, and it's certain that 90 minutes wasn't nearly enough.
