Sleigh Bells promised new information about their third album, and today we have received it: The noise pop duo has just revealed the name, tracklist, cover art, and release date for their new record, as well as announcing a tour to go along with it. They even threw in a video for their new single on top of that!

Sleigh Bells will release Bitter Rivals on October 8th via Mom + Pop Music. You can pre-order the album now on iTunes or the band's official site. The record will feature 10 songs, including the title track and first single, "Bitter Rivals." You can already watch the music video, which they premiered today along with the album announcement. Vocalist Alexis Krauss debuted the song yesterday on SiriusXM U, and also described the making of the new album. She describes it as having a lot of energy and joy, and that it is more like their debut album, Treats, than last year's darker Reign of Terror. Listen to the interview below:

In addition to releasing the new record, Sleigh Bells will also embark on a tour in October. They have announced 30-date trek across North America, starting in Pennsylvania before heading to the West Coast and ending in New York City at the end of November. You can find tickets on the duo's official website now.
