Chris Brown Arrested for Felony Assault in Washington D.C.

Chris Brown and his bodyguard have been arrested for assault following an incident Saturday night in Washington D.C.

Brown was jailed following his hosting of a homecoming party at The Park at Fourteenth nightclub. At approximately 4:25 AM, Brown and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were involved in an altercation with another man outside the W Hotel. Brown and his bodyguard were taken into custody, while the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The cause of the incident is as yet unclear, but TMZ reports that the victim was repeatedly punched in the face, breaking his nose.

Brown will remain in jail until his appearance before a judge Monday morning. He is currently on probation for his 2009 assault of Rihanna, and if this arrest violates his probation, he could face up to 4 years in prison.
