Pink Floyd is back.

A multi-sensory showcase titled The Pink Floyd Exhibition – Their Mortal Remains will open in Milan's La Fabbrica Del Vapore on September 19, 2014. Roger Waters, Nick Mason and David Gilmour are collaborating with Fran Tomasi, their Italian promoter, for this four week multimedia residency involving music, films, artifacts, photographs, instruments and more. Designing the installation will be the Stufish Company, who in the past have created the stage sets for Pink Floyd's world tours. Over 300 pieces of memorabilia spanning five decades of Pink Floyd history will be included in the experience.

In an interview with Classic Rock Magazine, curator Aubrey Powell states,

"If ever a band lent itself to a major retrospective exhibition, it’s Pink Floyd. Selecting what to include from such a treasure trove is both a dream and a nightmare. However, there were elements that just had to be included, for example a twenty - metre wide sculpture of The Wall, five - metre high inflatables, and of course, a flying pig. We’ll be aiming for state - of - the - art visuals and sonic delivery, similar to the experience of attending a Pink Floyd concert; you’ll never know what to expect next.”

Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 27th, via the Pink Floyd Exhibition Ticket website. Additional information about the exhibit is available at The Pink Floyd Exhibition Website.
