Yesterday, we learned the shocking news that L’Wren Scott (a well known fashion designer and Mick Jagger's girlfriend of 12+ years) was found dead in New York City of an apparent suicide. Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones have been on tour through Australia and New Zealand. Earlier today, the band announced that they're cutting the tour short, postponing 7 concerts that would have taken place over the next few weeks.

A statement on The Rolling Stones official website says:

The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry and disappointed to announce the postponement of the rest of their 14 ON FIRE tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L’Wren Scott.

On his Facebook page, Mick Jagger left this post, a picture of Ms. Scott with a message:

Currently, the next Rolling Stones concert is scheduled to take place on June 7th in Landgraaf, Netherlands at the sold out Pinkpop Festival. Their website lists 4 additional European concert dates in Germany, Italy, and Belgium.
