Adele is finishing 2015 strong and looking forward to an extensive world tour in 2016.
Last month, Adele set new records for album sales and announced 47 tour dates for the UK and mainland Europe. Now, she's added 56 tour dates for the United States, Canada and Mexico, set to take place from July to November, 2016. On the tour, she has planned multi-date stays in many cities, including six concerts apiece at the Staples Center in LA and Madison Square Garden in NYC.
It's a little surprising that after a few years absence from playing any concerts, Adele is returning in 2016 with over 100 dates planned across the world and relatively little rest. Her last tour, which featured only 51 concerts supporting the 21 album during the year of 2011, was cut short due to a vocal hemorrhage that required surgery.
Last month, Adele performed a special Live In New York City concert at Radio City Music Hall which is set to be broadcast in the USA on NBC for the first time tonight (Monday, December 14, 2015). Update: It is now available to stream online for free.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 17 at 10 AM local time. Advance tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 16th. An email sent this morning to Adele.com members gives the details about presale tickets:
Members in North America will be sent an email on Tuesday, December 15th with their membership details and instructions on how to purchase advance tickets. Members' passcodes will be valid for one order of up to four tickets. If you have not received your email by Tuesday evening, please be sure to check your junk folder.
Please note, the advance sale is subject to availability and your Adele.com membership does not guarantee you tickets.
Keep in mind that the presale tickets available make up a small percentage of the overall tickets for each concert, and may be restricted to sections with limited views of the stage. Most concert ticket sales are happening directly through Ticketmaster, although some are through TicketFly, AXS, and local venues. Get the latest at Adele's official website.
