Gregg Allman has added North American tour dates for 2016 and 2017, following his New York City residency at City Winery which begins this weekend. This is good news, after Allman was forced to cancel a run of tour dates earlier this year for what was called "serious health issues."

Gregg's band for these concerts will comprise of Scott Sharrard (guitar), Peter Levin (keyboards), Steve Potts (drums), Brett Bass (bass), Jay Collins and Art Edmaiston (saxophone), Marc Franklin (trumpet), and Marc Quinones (percussion).

The newly announced shows are scheduled to begin with a two night run for New Year's Eve at the Lucas Theatre For The Arts in Savannah, Georgia and extend into late January with a four night run at The Grand Opera House in Macon. Between, he's got concerts scheduled in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee.
