The Village Voice's 4Knots Music Festival will be returning to Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport in New York City this year on July 9, 2016. Moving from its previous location at Pier 84 in Hudson River Park, the concert will be held from 1-8 PM. The all ages show will take place rain or shine, and admission will be free.

At this time, ten acts have been confirmed for the 2016 lineup, with more to be announced soon. Scheduled to appear are Guided By Voices, The Strumbellas, Protomartyr, Car Seat Headrest, Diane Coffee, Mothers, Kirk Knight, Girlpool, Bayonne, Promised Land Sound, Boulevards, and Mild High Club.

Village Voice owner Peter Barbey shared this comment in a press release: "In line with the Voice's role as a tentpole of the cultural community in New York, we felt it was essential to continue our music legacy by producing a fantastic, free summer festival again."
