Famed comedy show Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th anniversary last night with a number of musicians performing hit songs. One of those guests was Miley Cyrus, who chose to do a cover of Paul Simon's song, "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover." Watch her performance above.

Wearing a suit adorned with red roses, Miley Cyrus and her backing band stay almost true to Simon's 1975 original, but add a country twang during the song's chorus. Acoustic guitars, a marching drum, and an upright bass give a full sound that compliments Miley's talented vocals. Having grown up in a musical family (Billy Ray Cyrus is her father), she handles this tune with the flair of a Southern belle.

Also be sure to check out the other musical performances on the SNL 40th Anniversary episode:

Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake - Medley
Paul McCartney - "Maybe I'm Amazed"
Paul Simon - "Still Crazy After All These Years"
Kanye West ft Sia & Vic Mensa - "Jesus Walks," "Only One," "Wolves" Medley
