Ariana Grande has shared a music video for "7 Rings," a track from her upcoming album Thank You, Next.  Watch it above on YouTube.

The song incorporates the classic melody and two-chord progression of "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music with sultry beats and modern hip hop percussion.  Ariana shows off her vocal prowess combining rapid-fire rapping on the verses with smoky R&B vocals.  Can you hear the Cardi B influence?

Lyrically, the singer continues her evolution toward materialistic and money obsessed hip hop culture.  At the same time, she brags about taking care of her friends by singing, "Bought matching diamonds for 6 of my bitches, I’d rather spoil all my friends with my riches."  The main hook, "I want it, I got it, You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it, I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it" shows a confidence and sense of humor that we have come to expect from the 25-year-old superstar.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video sets a party vibe at a pink neon-lit house with Ariana and others striking sexy poses and sipping champagne.  No men are anywhere to be seen.

At this time, Thank You, Next does not have a release date.  Previously she shared music videos for "Imagine" and the title track.

The pop star will head out on a North American tour in March.  For concert tickets and more, check out Ariana Grande's Zumic artist page.
