The Grand Ole Opry has recently uploaded a performance by Old Crow Medicine Show. The band performed at the historic Ryman Auditorium, "The Mother Church of Country Music," in downtown Nashville.
O.C.M.S. are here doing what I like best -- playing high energy, foot-stomping roots music. Highlights from the evening's performance include mandolin player Cory Younts showing off his dancing skills, and a fiddle duet between Ketch Secor and Chance McCoy. Ketch exclaims after the performance, "You wanna play at the Grand Ole Opry, buddy you better have two fiddles in the band!" Truer words have never been spoken.
"8 Dogs 8 Banjos" comes from the band's 2014 album Remedy, which you can stream right here on Zumic. You can also pick it up for purchase on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
