Following their excellent 2012 EP, Quiet Light, Roadkill Ghost Choir are set to release their debut full-length album, In Tongues, on August 19th of this year. Above, you can hear the first single from the album, "A Blow To The Head," from the band's YouTube channel.

The song is a trippy rocker that clocks in at nearly 7 minutes. Starting off with some psychedelic electronics and a heavy bass line, guitars provide great melody alongside lead singer Andrew Shepard's haunting vocals. You can hear traces of '90s hard rock from the likes of the Foo Fighters and Radiohead, but really RGC have a sound of their own that beautifully combines guitar driven southern rock with traditional Americana and modern indie sounds.
