London-based band Cold Specks, fronted by Canadian singer-songwriter Al Spx, has released a video for the new single, "Absisto," off of their upcoming album, Neuroplasticity.

The visually striking short was filmed in Canada and directed by Ian Pons Jewel. It features an ethereal landscape and a plethora of frightening characters who terrorize the doomed individuals that mistakingly make their way into a particularly forbidden corner of the woods. The plot details the fate of a young soldier who wanders into the domain of Cold Specks and leader Al Spx. The unfortunate traveller finds himself in a dark labyrinth of events he has no control over. The ending of the video, while cryptic, reveals that his situation was far from unusual, and that many had fallen victim to the same trap before him. While haunting to watch, the video for "Absisto" simply oozes style across the color-corrected screen and raises the excitement for their upcoming LP.

Neuroplasticity will be out August 26th. You can pre-order it on iTunes and Amazon.
