Lead guitarist and founding member of '70s classic rock band KISS, Ace Frehley, sits down at Guitar Center for an interview. Watch above.

During the interview, Ace plays tasty blues/classic rock licks. He shares how his musical family inspired him to play guitar and how he went from a young aspiring musician to a member of one of the biggest bands in rock history.

The main attraction is Ace's 1976 Budokan signature Gibson Les Paul Custom. Beautiful and painted in its classic cherry sunburst color, it possesses 3 humbucker pickups, but with only one connected: the bridge pickup. He has it plugged into a Marshall amp on the overdrive channel with a crunchy rock sound. You can really hear that deep but sharp tone that is provided via the bridge humbucker pick up, helping to achieve that great classic rock blues tone that Marshall and Gibson are well known for.

Be sure to check out his latest solo effort Space Invader on Amazon, Spotify, and iTunes.
