Acoustic Set With Roadkill Ghost Choir From The Zumic Offices

We are huge, huge fans of Deland, FL outfit Roadkill Ghost Choir, and when we saw their tour with another favorite of ours, Dead Confederate was hitting The Knitting Factory here in Williamsburg, we figured we'd have them come by and play a few songs (Dead Confederate was supposed to join Roadkill but New York traffic and possibly band hangovers prevented this, such is the nature of a rock n roll tour). Andrew Shepard and Stephen Garza were kind enough to oblige our request, and they absolutely killed it.

For those unfamiliar with the band, their brand of haunting, gorgeous music is steeped in it's southerness, but defies being branded as just "Southern Rock". The group has more in common with a gothic, Spanish Moss-drenched William Faulkner paragraph than it does a Skynyrd pre-show tailgate. Check out their excellent performance below:
