Last month, British pop singer Adele performed an exclusive concert at the iconic Radio City Music Hall. NBC premiered the concert film Adele Live in New York City last night, and now, you can stream the television special above.
During the concert she performed 13 songs, which has been cut down to 8 songs to fit the video in a 1-hour timeslot on TV. At the time of the performance, it was the first preview of her now released album, 25, featuring the debut of songs like "All I Ask" and "Million Years Ago," as well as the live debut of her newest chart-topping hit, "Hello." In addition to the new songs, she performed hits from her two previous albums, 21 and 19, but unfortunately the songs from 19 were cut out of this video. However, the Oscar-winning song "Skyfall," from the 2012 James Bond movie of the same name, was included.
Accompanied by a pianist, a band, and backup vocalists you can see that she thrilled the audience and demonstrated her flawless vocal delivery. The banter between songs adds to Adele's charm, as well. With tears building up in her eyes before she sang the night's final number, her 2010 hit "Rolling in the Deep," she admits that she was nervous about the night's performance, and was relieved that she remembered the lyrics. Overall, this is an A+ performance that serves as a great preview of what to expect from her upcoming live concerts.
