Atmosphere have released a music video for "We Ain't Gonna Die Today" off their eighth full-length, Southsiders. Watch it above.

The hip hop veterans (rapper Slug and DJ Ant) continue their legacy with story-driven lyrics and feel-good musicality. Their message is always apparent through clearly enunciated lyrics and an air of intelligence, characteristics that set them apart from many of their peers. This track has more pluck than some of the others off the album, backed by a Gorillaz-like beat.

The video depicts Bobby Silver, who wakes up royally clad in a robe and Burger King crown, sorting through his collection of nunchucks before dressing down and heading to his day job. He meets up with DJ Rare Groove, where a covert transaction takes place. The payoff is watching Bobby perform a nunchuck number in a gymnasium while sporting a Cleveland State basketball uniform. It's pretty awesome.

Southsiders is out now on Rhymesayers Entertainment. Get it on Amazon. For more Atmosphere music and tour dates, check out the Rhymesayers Entertainment website.
