<h5>Yonder Mountain String Band "Alison" Lyrics</h5>

<blockquote>Never such luck came and went
I know a lover that Heaven sent
From the world my eyes have turned
Oh yeah

They fall, they fall, they fall, they fall
They fall on Alison
They fall, they fall, they fall, they fall
They fall on Alison

I saw her first in the summer shade
I was seeing things that my eyes had made
I could roll with all her friends
Oh yeah

They talk, they talk, they talk, they talk
They talk on Alison
They talk, they talk, they talk, they talk
They talk on Alison

Everything has got a name
You can take or leave it, who's to blame
Behind it all what's really there
Oh yeah

You fall, you fall, you fall again
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall again
You fall for Alison

I wouldn't say it's a mystery
What you do to me
I wouldn't say it's cruel
Play all night, play all day
Channeling the time I put into this hopelessness
It's all for you

Here I am and I'm watching you
I couldn't change my mind if I wanted to
I might fake out and I might burn down
Oh yeah

You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall, you fall, you fall, you fall
You fall for Alison</blockquote>

Bluegrass outfit Yonder Mountain String Band have shared a scenic music video for "Alison," a track from their upcoming album. Watch it above, courtesy of the band's YouTube.

Shot in Telluride, Colorado, the video uses drones to capture the band playing the song with the beautiful landscape surrounding them.

Singer and bonjo player Dave Johnston spoke about the song's lyrics with Rolling Stone Country:

[Guitarist] Adam Aijala and I had a lot of fun developing this tune, and it went through a couple of good tweaks... The speaker is sort of a stalker type, but he's also prone to getting duped, so it ends up being a hopeless situation for him. I can't tell, though, if I feel sorry for him or not.

The song is from the band's as-of-yet untitled upcoming album that is scheduled to be released in early 2017.
