The holidays are coming up, which means it's time to spin our favorite celebrity Christmas albums. There's plenty to choose from - Elvis Presley, Kenny G (who holds the title of most units sold at 7,310,000 for Miracles: The Holiday Album), and even Twisted Sister. We enjoy these offerings because it gives us a chance to hear our favorite Christmas songs done by our favorite artists. But what if you wanted to know how, say Meshuggah, or Dio, would do a Christmas song.
Enter Anthony Vincent. He takes Mariah Carey's "All I want For Christmas Is You" and does the whole song in 20 different, varied styles. Stand-outs include Imagine Dragons, Billy Joel circa 1984, and Alvin & The Chipmunks. This guy has more talent in his hair than most current popular artists combined.
Also, in case you missed it, Ms. Carey dropped a new album earlier this year. Stream Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse right here on Zumic. You can also pick her album up on Amazon (CD, MP3) or iTunes.
