One of this summer's hottest concert attractions has recently added fall tour dates.

The Word are an all-star jamband featuring Robert Randolph on pedal steel guitar, John Medeski on keyboards, and the North Mississippi Allstars (Luther Dickinson on electric guitar, Cody Dickinson on drums, and Chris Chew on bass). Together, they incorporate gospel flavorings paired with blues, jazz, soul, and rock to deliver a high powered, electrifying performance. They haven't done a true tour together in over a decade, be sure to catch one of their shows while you can!

We expect a lot of these shows to sell out. If you want great tickets for a reasonable price, check out Zumic’s preferred ticket broker: SuperStar Tickets. No fees, 125% money-back guarantee, and use discount code SHOPCONCERTS for 5% off your purchase.

You can catch The Word at some of this year's biggest music festivals, including High Sierra, All Good, Forecastle, XPoNential, Roots N Blues N BBQ, and Gathering of the Vibes. Then, they will be on the road beginning in October for a fall tour that will start in California and work their way East.

You can pick up The Word's new album, Soul Food, on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
