Converge's All We Love We Leave Behind was one of the best heavy albums of 2012, and now, about a year and a half after its release, they've shared a music video for the album's title track. Well ok, even though it's titled as if it's the music video for that song, it also includes audio of the song "Precipice," taken from the same album. Watch the disorienting, slightly disturbing video above.

"Built, shot and edited" by Craig Murray, the "All We Love We Leave Behind" video blends live action, animation and stop-motion to tell a story that seems to be about the death of a man's dog. That is, if the wake of your dog's death usually involves being tied up by invisible spirits and visited by your dog's ghost.

The cinematography at play here is incredible, and combining songs to create longer-form music videos is an intriguing style that we've also seen artists like Broken Bells attempt in the past few months. Converge continue to be one of the most creative bands in the hardcore punk world, and we're beyond stoked to hear what they have in store for us next.

In some other Converge-related news, the album that their guitarist, Kurt Ballou, produced for Floor is now streaming right here on Zumic.
