The Georgia-bred Futurebirds performed "American Cowboy," a track from their latest album Baba Yaga, live on AXS TV this past Wednesday night. The indie/southern rockers came through with a great rendition of the slow-burning ballad. Soaring pedal steel riffs provide a healthy dose of twang and meld perfectly with the buzzing guitars and Carter King's sweet, crackling voice. Don't miss this one, it's a great performance from a very unique band.
