English band Tears For Fears released a cover of the Hot Chip song "And I Was A Boy From School." Following Tears For Fears cover of Arcade Fire's "Ready To Start," the duo plans to start work on their seventh full length album, using these two covers as a means to "kick-start the recording process" singer Roland Orzaba tells Rolling Stone.

For this cover they added a heavier bass line, as well as emphasizing the drums to make the track a bit more robust. They also eliminated the classic synth melody that helped the original retain its unique groove, replacing that line with synth pads. However, the vocal harmonies are intact and sound great, and help add space into the track.

Tears For Fears 30th anniversary of their debut album, The Hurting, is being celebrated by the release of a box set, which you can get from Amazon. The new album, a response to their 2004 release Everybody Loves A Happy Ending, is due out sometime next year.
