"Another Set of Issues" - OK Go [SoundCloud Audio Stream + Lyrics]

OK Go have just shared another track from their eagerly awaited fourth album, Hungry Ghosts.

The track is a dynamic, electronic monster, with Damian Kulash melancholy lyrics mirroring the sentiments in the new album's lead single, "The Writing's On The Wall." The instrumentation eschews rock and roll almost entirely, with a field of digital sine waves, square waves, bleeps, and bloops backing up Kulash's hushed, morose vocals as he sings, "This will all be over soon." The bed of sweeping filters and Moog sounds lighten the mood some, though, not to mention the sarcastic sample of gameshow applause in the bridge. Take a listen above.
