Lady Gaga strikes again with a provocative video for "Applause" - the first single from the upcoming album Popart. The song had been planned to debut on Good Morning America today, but after the song leaked last weekend Gaga chose to release the song through iHeartRadio last week leaving today as the premiere just for the music video.
Gaga was also interviewed in the GMA Times Square studio and shared details of her rehab from her hip injury, saying that she broke her hip and didn't even realize it until the 3rd MRI.
Regarding the video, Lady Gaga talks about the importance for her of transforming and how each of the costumes in the video represent different parts of her. Another interesting tidbit is that her injury made the creative process even more intense as she couldn't finish her tour, dance, or even walk. Check out her golden wheelchair:
