UK punk rock band Basement put up a music video for their new song "Aquasun." Watch above.

Basement went on hiatus in 2012, but in 2014 a tweet that simply said "hi" officially announced the band was coming back. Since then, the band has been busy touring and working on their next full length, Promise Everything, which includes "Aquasun" and will be released on Jan 29, 2016.

"Aquasun" may be softer than their earlier music, but it is just as emotional and catchy. Bright vocals, mellow guitars, and light drums are new, but improved qualities of Basement's progression.

The music video was filmed by guitarist Alex Henery. It tells a heartwarming story about the friendship between a man and a fish named Gavin as they venture to the boardwalk and the arcade. Unfortunately, Gavin is snatched by a younger boy and the man loses his friend forever. Don't worry, Basement claims no animals were harmed in the making of the music video and Gavin is happy living in his big tank and his enjoying his new fame.

Promise Everything is available for preorder on Run for Cover's website.
