Arcade Fire have released a teaser video for "Afterlife," a track from their much-anticipated album Relfektor, which is due out on October 29th. The video follows crowds of people gathering in the street in Haiti, a locale that has been very inspiring for the band. "Afterlife," which features mournful strings and horns as well as some Daft Punk-esque vocoded singing, provides a haunting, atmospheric soundtrack. Check it out above.

The band has been very sneaky in the lead-up to their next album, and the surprises keep coming. Recently, they announced that they will play three intimate shows in the next two weeks. Two will be in Brooklyn on October 18th and 19th, and one will be in Miami on the 23rd. These dates come in addition to their previously-scheduled shows at Miami's Little Haiti Cultural Center on the 26th and their slot at the Bridge School Benefit Concert in California on the 27th. For those who can't make the concerts, Arcade Fire will also be appearing on TV next week. Variety reports that the band will be the musical guest on The Colbert Report on October 21st.

Finally, the band also released a new promo video for Reflektor. It features more footage of Haiti as well as a clip of Win Butler working on a song. Check it out below.
