The Arctic Monkey's frontman, Alex Turner, has decided to move to LA.  He says the reason behind the move is that LA is "built on rock and roll" meaning the "best studios and equipment are here".  Weather was also clearly a factor, because he is quoted as saying "the sun always shines and you can ride your motorcycle in December".

Arctic Monkeys drummer, Matt Helders also hinted at the release of a new album.  When asked how has been spending his time he said, "I have been in the desert with motorcycles, the band has been "Working together.....just writing and stuff.  There is no deadlines or anything like that, were just getting back into it"  When quizzed about what the album will sound like he responded "2013".  Subsequently then asked if that meant the album would be released sometime this year, he said "well it would be stupid if we made a 2013 album and released it next year".

This is exciting news for Arctic Monkeys fans, after their fourth studio album, Suck it and See generated some great reviews.  Hopefully this will be as good as the last.
