Wednesday, July 31, an unidentified man attempted to break into Kid Rock's home in Clarkston, Michigan. The suspect was caught on Kid Rock's security cameras ramming his white van into a gate on his property and then attempting to break into the house on crutches, proving his unyielding determination.

Today, Oakland County police apprehended the suspect, a 43 year old Detroit man. According to Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe, the arrest came after two tipsters revealed his identity to police. The suspect is currently being held at Oakland County jail and will likely be arraigned Monday.

No one messes with Kid Rock and he made that pretty clear this week, issuing a warning to anyone who attempts to invade his property again and / or harm his family that he is armed and will not hesitate in protecting his family.

On Kid Rock's website, he wrote the following in a blog post titled "Don't mess with a Motherfucker Like Me":

Assisting in the arrest and identification of the suspect, Kid Rock offered a $5,000 reward to anyone who could provide any information on the suspect, and also released photos of the suspect caught on his security cameras:
