Today, Atmosphere released a music video for "Arthur's Song" which is off their album Southsiders. Watch the video above.
At first, the video seems simple. A young woman puts on head phones, mows a lawn, and lip synchs Slug's lyrics. As the clip progresses, it's slowly revealed where she's cutting the grass, and it changes your perception of what you've watched. This video parallels the song's relaxed beat but with the serious lyrical content about alcoholism, pain, and the therapeutic quality of writing music.
Southsiders is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
