After collaborating on Magna Carta Holy Grail track "BBC," Timbaland, Nas, and Justin Timberlake are coming together again for a new song — "Sinatra in the Sands." The song will be on Nas' upcoming album and on it, according to Timbaland, "Justin sounds just like Frank Sinatra."

In an interview with Revolt, Timbaland discussed working with the supergroup, calling the new song "completely stupid," you know, in a good way, and saying that Nas' new album, whenever it comes out, is going to be "phenomenal."

Timbaland also announced that he will be joining Jay Z on tour.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go up there. 'Cause I was telling , 'let's don't stop while we've got this energy, let's just keep putting music out. Why are we stopping? We just now are tapping into our artistry. We're making real music now.'"

Timbaland, a long time friend and producer for Aaliyah, also discussed the posthumous use of Aaliyah vocals in songs by Drake and Chris Brown. He specifically mentioned Drake's song "Starting from the Bottom," and remembered thinking to himself of the track, “It ain’t gonna work ’cause Aaliyah music only work with its soulmate, which is me.”

He remembered talking to Drake about the song, which Drake admitted really struggling with. Since then, Timbaland said, he and Jay Z have embraced Drake and adopted him, noting that the young rapper "is gonna be around for a long time."

Watch the full interview above. It only clocks in at about two minutes, but Timbaland has a lot to say.
