Grunge kings Pearl Jam now have a free iTunes application titled Pearl Jam Official. The app lets users "access music, news, merchandise," and a detailed timeline highlighting the band's achievements. The app is also an expansion of Pearl Jam's official fan club, the Ten Club.
Pearl Jam's Ten Club manager, Tim Bieman, reports that "the app was created to serve all Pearl Jam fans, but it also allows our official Ten Club members to log into their membership accounts on-the go."
Presale for Pearl Jam's North American tour begins tomorrow, which includes the band headlining the Voodoo + Arts Experience in New Orleans. Pearl Jam's upcoming record, Lightning Bolt, is now available for preorder on iTunes now, and will be released October 15th.
