As a result of guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro breaking his hand, Neil Young and Crazy Horse have cancelled the remainder of their tour stops in Europe. The group stated on their official website that they are "sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the festivals where we were scheduled to appear... as you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events."

According to Rolling Stone, the injury is only a "mild fracture," and Sampedro should "make a complete recovery in time for the North American tour." This tour is a short one, where the group will be playing the Ontario's Greenbelt Harvest Picnic on August 31st, then Port Chester, NY, Ottawa Folk Festival, and lastly a set at the Interlocken Music Festival in Arlington, VA.

Hopefully Poncho's hand recovers in a timely manner. He told Rolling Stone that "my gut tells me this is really the last tour... we're playing as good as we ever did, but at any time, something could go down with any one of us."

We at Zumic wish Sampedro a speedy and healthy recovery. Check out Neil Young and Crazy Horse's cancelled shows and remaining tour dates below, assuming the guitarist will be able to perform.
