A$AP Rocky Allegedly Slaps Female Fan, Charged With Assault

Rapper A$AP Rocky has been charged with misdemeanor assault in connection to an alleged incident at the Made In America festival.

A woman has accused A$AP Rocky of slapping her with an open hand while trying to make his way through a crowd of fans who were tugging at his shirt. TMZ reports that the woman filed a criminal complaint with the District Attorney's Office, alleging that she suffered whiplash as a result of the incident.

Upon review of the case, the Philadelphia D.A. charged A$AP with misdemeanor simple assault. No word yet from the rapper's side, but stay tuned to Zumic as details emerge. For what it's worth, A$AP Rocky was caught on video slapping a female fan earlier this summer in Australia:
