Even more questions and teases have accumulated surrounding the Arcade Fire album mystery. It's theoretically entitled Reflektor and is due out on October 29th, but even sooner than that is the surprise they have for us on Monday. Arcade Fire will reveal something at 9pm on September 9th, but what that is has been kept secret until now: Music video director Anton Corbijn told The Daily Beast that it's the music video for a song called "Reflekor." As he said:

I’m working on a really great song at the moment: Arcade Fire’s new single. The song is called ‘Reflektor,’ and you’ll be able to see it Monday evening. I can’t say much more than that, because it’s all a surprise. You’ll have to watch the TV Monday evening.

Moreover, it looks like some album artwork has been revealed. Grimey's in Nashville tweeted the following picture of a 12" vinyl, as reposted by Arcade Fire tube:

Then Empire Records revealed more: A new single with 14 songs on it.

You can check out a photo of the artwork below, along with a closeup of the tracklist:

Notice that although the first single is apparently called "Reflektor," none of the songs in the tracklist have that title. Very mysterious.

Adding more puzzlement, a map on thereflektors.com contains locations worldwide where the 12" is rumored to be available. This is not confirmed however.

Finally, Stereogum reports that Arcade Fire played a secret show at a salsa club called Salsathèque Montreal last night. They allegedly played many of their new songs, which sound "more contemporary" than the band's previous material. Aside from that blog, there is no confirmation that this show actually took place.

All in all, there are still a lot of questions surrounding Arcade Fire's new album and what's happening on Monday. Luckily we'll have some answers in only a few short days.
