Moby Almost Home Contest 2013

Moby has announced a contest through Genero, a website that connects artists to filmmakers, for a music video to "Almost Home." The song is on his latest album Innocents, which was released on October 1.

The winning video for the contest will not only become the official video for "Almost Home," but the winning filmmaker will receive a $6,000 prize as well. It will also be entered into the 2013 Genero Awards, with a potential $50,000 prize. The deadline for submissions is December 16, 2013 at 23:59 GMT time.

This is not the first time that Moby has given his fans a chance to collaborate with him. Moby, along with Flaming Lips lead singer Wayne Coyne, who was featured on his single "The Perfect Life," reached out to fans to be featured in the song's video. This time, the video for "Almost Home" will be fully a fan made project. According to Genero, the creative direction for the video is completely open to interpretation.

Innocents is available on iTunes and Amazon.
