In an interview last week on WNYC Soundcheck, Les Claypool alluded to future tour dates with Primus. Today, those tour dates were officially announced.
Tim Alexander will be behind the drum kit, and special openers will include Beats Antique and The Dean Ween Group. Also of note, a concert at Kansas City with Queens of the Stone Age. After a one-off in Mexico on March 21st with Tool and Puscifer, the American tour kicks off with 3 shows at the brand new Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on May 1st, and finishes up at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland on June 29th. In all, Primus has 18 dates on their 2014 schedule so far.
