Radkey recently visited NYC, and Okayplayer was there to document their activities for the day. The Missouri punk band started things off at legendary comic shop Forbidden Planet, followed by a stop at Artichoke Pizza.
Bassist Isaiah Radke did most of the talking, mentioning that they're only cool because they're in a band and telling a story about a Missouri venue turning them away on the grounds that they "didn't book rap groups." Check out the video above.
From the YouTube description:
We spent the day with young rockers Radkey in NYC ahead of their European tour. We chilled in Union Square, went comic book shopping, and of course ate pizza while they relayed the various plights of being black rockers and why they're okay with being total nerds.
