The Strokes have already announced their upcoming reunion at NYC's Governors Ball on June 7th, but the band has just revealed plans for a one-off show at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on May 31st.
The concert will be their first since November 2011, when they played Planeta Terra festival in Brazil. No word if there are plans to go back on tour, but for now, they seem content with their current plans. When asked on Twitter if there would be more concerts to come, Albert Hammond Jr. responded, saying, "It's just a warm up show."
Promo tickets for the show will go on sale Thursday, May 15th at noon. General on-sale begins at 12:00 PM EST this Friday, May 16th at Ticketfly, but the 1,800 seats will probably sell out extremely fast. Passes are still available for Governors Ball, however, so you may not miss your chance to see the band.
