Just one month into 2016, the year already presents a handful of major world tours from artists who are guaranteed to draw large crowds, including Adele, Janet Jackson, Ellie Goulding, 5 Seconds of Summer, Rihanna, and Coldplay. While New York City typically hosts a one of the most anticipated nights of any U.S. tour, London’s O2 Arena and Wembley Stadium are expected to be the major destinations for these tours overseas.

While the O2 Arena and Wembley Stadium have hosted similar artists over the years, the sizes of the venues are hugely different. O2 Arena is located in South East London and has a capacity of 20,000. Wembley Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that was demolished in 2002, re-built, and re-opened in 2007, can squeeze a massive crowd of 90,000. These venues follow in the footsteps of illustrious London music venues that hosted and birthed some of the top acts in music history.

In 2016, Wembley Stadium will draw huge names in music for some of the biggest tours. Rihanna’s Anti World Tour will swing into town on June 24 for a performance at the famous venue, and Coldplay will play a few weeks earlier at the massive space. Coldplay will play four shows beginning June 15 through June 19, and tickets to see the band for what may be the last time, are expected to dwindle fast.

Adele’s world tour will play a whopping six performances at O2 Arena from March 15-March 22, as well as two additional stops on April 4 and 5. As Adele resale tickets are currently averaging over the $900 mark for her six-show residency in New York City, U.S. fans may take the opportunity to travel to London to see the monumental artist in her home city.

Other major artists swinging into O2 Arena include Ellie Goulding, whose Delirium World Tour will play two stops on March 24 and 25, and 5 Seconds of Summer, whose Sounds Good Feels Good Live World Tour, will play back-to-back nights on April 7 and 8. On March 31, Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable World Tour will also pay a visit to the O2 Arena, with just a solo performance at the venue.
